The Middleton Family and MyComputerCareer are honored to offer

The Scarlett Sunshine
Memorial Scholarship

About Scarlett

In the summer of 2018, Scarlett Elizabeth Middleton was a vibrant five-year-old who loved dancing, swimming, playing with her brothers and sisters, and jigsaw puzzles. Though a little shy and soft-spoken, everyone who met her said she radiated joy. To celebrate her fifth birthday on June 26, she took a special trip to Disney with her mom, Holly, and her grandmother, Libbie. Throughout the birthday weekend, Scarlett enjoyed being showered with love and gifts, which included a princess Ariel makeover at Disney World. Holly and Libbie said the smile never left Scarlett’s face the entire weekend. Tragically, Scarlett’s wonderful birthday trip would prove to be her last. Shortly after returning home to St. Petersburg, Scarlett suddenly became seriously ill with sepsis and passed away on July 12.

Scarlett's Sunshine

In the wake of their tragedy, Scarlett’s parents, Aaron and Holly Middleton, felt compelled to keep their little girl’s gift of spreading joy alive. To this end, they organized a charity in their daughter’s memory, which they named Scarlett’s Sunshine, with the purpose of bestowing acts of kindness to strangers in need. In keeping with Scarlett’s love for flowers, the Middletons regularly visit hospitals and nursing homes where they hand out beautiful flowers and visit with patients.
