Holly Springs, N.C. – April 2, 2024 – MyComputerCareer, an online and in-campus technical college, recently announced the appointment of Mariah Sheridan as director of business development. In the role, Sheridan will draw from two decades of progressive experience, including seven in the ed tech industry, to develop and drive initiatives to support the school’s growth into the B2B and B2G channels. This effort will include creating a team to partner with organizations while building strategic course bundles to support their technology teams, to protect digital assets, and to safeguard revenue from cyber threats.
Prior to her appointment, Sheridan was vice president of business development at online professional development platform Esme Learning. Previous to Esme Learning, she was promoted to senior director of strategic partnership development at global online education leader 2U after serving as regional director of industry engagement, South region, for a number of years. During her stint at 2U, Sheridan’s team developed strategic engagement opportunities to bring together students across all lines of business to include degree, short course, and boot camp programs for hiring opportunities.
